If you just so happen to be like me, you will have never heard about the Wild About Beauty, make up range before. For you, it is until now, for me it wasn't until last Saturday, when I was in Debenhams and I was asked whether I would like to try out some of the range's products - you know what I mean, the people on the counters who are very persuasive when it comes to enticing you to take the plunge and buy the products they are offering.
Wild About Beauty, was only released onto the market in October of last year, by Louise Redknapp and make up artist Kim Jacob. The products in the range are all natural colours and of natural ingredients, including botanical extracts - which will correct the balance; texture and appearance of the skin. TOWIE cast, stand aside.
Products I bought, were a beautiful toned cream blush/multipurpose tint and a pigmented lip balm, which I have been trying out for the past few days, and I must say, I am not disappointed.
Blush/Multi-Purpose Tint & Nutrilips Balm
Its long lasting and as it is the first cream-blush I've tried, I certainly think they are better than powder blush. As a lip tint, I don't like it - I much prefer it to be just for blush. I found that on the few occasions I've used it as a lip tint too, my lips were dry and felt kind of chalky. The colour range isn't amazing, you can either choose the one I went for (Maggie) or a two others, which you will find here. It was £16.50 which is justifiable, considering I've used it everyday for a month (I started this post last month but never finished it, what?) and it shows no means of hitting "pan" as it so were. I want to try a topshop cream blush and compare it to see whether this Wild About Beauty multi-purpose tint is any different to theirs - apart from the price. To be honest, I don't really know what to say about this lip balm, other than amazing. Its really nourishing and long-lasting. My lips feel really soft and this is a great product for everyday use, as the colour is vibrant, but not too over the top for an everyday subtle look. I will definitely be investing in more tinted lip balms!
Have you tried, or even heard about the Wild About Beauty make up range? Am I just out of the loop?
